would ya believe me if i say i was a nervouswrack? If anyone told me that i would be nervous one day i would have knocked him or her out! (kiddin....i think :roll: ) But damn, do ya know what is to be on stage again after 2 years (actually 4 years since i was a lead-dancer) , all those hundreds of eyes eyeing ya, the spotlites following ya wherever ya go, and the pressure of not dissapointing pple who r depending on ya......yikes!!!
anyways, there were 10 dance schools and we were second to be on stage. SECOND!!! :shock: It was too early, but at least we could take a breathe, saying we were throught the first stage :wink: The first 10 mins (of the first stage) went so smoothly that we were actually sure we made it to the second half :mrgreen: and we were not dissapointed. So we were in tha last 5 schools......
In the second half we appeared in the 4th place. Everything was going great till i made such a big & an unnecessary blunder!!! :oops: How could i missed that?!!! I don't know where my head was! I used to go to my danspartner while turning around, he would pick me up, eehm throw me in the air, place me on his shoulder, the background dancers on their knees around us and that would be the end :roll: Such a simple thing and do ya know what i did?!!! I was turning around the whole time where i was standing waiting for HIM to come & pick me uphttp://animatiegifjes.stophier.nl/smilies/diversen/stophierOJeez.gif Then i realised my mistake, and in a flash i saw the eyes of my dancers asking me what i was doing for godssake! :roll: But thank god we covered it up quickly! But my mood was.....GONE!!! And my co-dancers, teacher and everyone who was involved saying that it "was okay, it didn't matter, it could happen to anyone & bla bla bla" backstage....it made it only worse!!! As ya can imagine i was covering my ears & closing my eyes while the winners were announced. And when i heard screams all around me, hugging me, kissing me & lifting me in the air i still couldn't believe!! It felt like everything was slow-motion, i cant explain that!!! It had been 3 years that my dance school had won the last cup, so the cup was very welcomed warmly! Hihihi We partied the whole nite & mornin, i came actually home around 4;15 am or smth like that. It was natural that i was tired but i woke up at 9 and im still feeling.....FIT! :lol: And saturdaynite there is gonna be a special party for us where i work......eehm while im in duty! :lol: :lol:
Finally i wanna thank from tha bottom of my heart everyone who thought abt us yesterday and kept their fingers crossed!! It was great knowing that ya were together with me, US! So thank ya thank ya.....many mucks!!!! ;******
