I'm back- unfortunately... :cry:
well, what can I say? it wasn't nice, it wasn't great nor super... it was just -wow!- magnificent!! I love that city!! I really do!! It was soooo great to be back... even if 20 years have past since I lived there... it still feels a bit like home! I love the british, they are all soooo friendly, that is a fact that really strikes you-especially when you're from vienna, where everyone is so.... : :x like this! and there are hardly any dogs!! (o no, I like dogs,I just don't like their shit!!) you can just sit down in one of the parks in the centre... in the grass... hey, that's .... nice!! :wink:
Being in london was an adventure! aspecially driving... on the "wrong" side of the road.... :wink: but ya get used to it quite quickly!! well, it was not possible to avoid the tube... I felt quite comfortable and safe, though! there were so many policemen around...
we've been round the centre of london nearly all by foot!!! I think i've never walked as much in a week as in this week!!! tiring, but...oh, I love the london atmosfere!! walking down oxford street... piccadilly circus, trafalgar square... and then a relax in st. james park, or hyde park....
we were a bit unlucky with the weather though... it was very rainy... and a bit cold (exept on the first and the last two days!) I remember sitting near the thames, with a winter pullover and ..... still freezing!!! (14° is a bit cold for summer!)
I'va also been to hampstead.... where I used to live!!! uh, that was flashy!!! How I would have loved to go into the houses we lived in.... I've been to the cafè I always used to go with my dad on sundays... seen the school....
well, when it came to boarding the plane.... I really cried! one week is too short!!! If I ever can afford a living in London, then be sure----I'm going to live there!!!!

well, actually that little street in hapstead is so nice, only that it was raining, and maybe that is why it looks a bit creepy.... but actually it is not! it is a wonderful and nice district of london.....
