I'm working on getting the nerve up to come. I had to pass on a booksigning in London because I was too chicken to get on a plane.

Yeah, there are way too many nice places in the world to be stuck in just one!
Get over the fear & explore the world!

I'm trying. I swear. It's the whole breaking out in a cold sweat and clutching my stomach sure I'm about to pass out thing that keeps getting in the way.

Yeah, but once you get over that, it is really cool!
Flying is awesome!
u've got to try it newdee :-)
i'm sure it's great feeling, though the longest flight i've ever had was abt 2 meters long ;-)
btw... is falling of the tree a flight ;-)

Considering I was foolish enough to climb a tree when I was seven and then realized that I was too scared to climb back down, I'm going to have to say yes. Falling out of a tree counts as flight. Not the best kind but flight all the same.

Guess neither one of you would be up for skydiving, eh? :P
skydiving?? why not :D
on the tree i didn't have a parachute, in skydiving it's (hopefully!) different ;-)

   that was funny!! I hope for you also!
ooo don't talk abt trees! hehehe! I was THE tree-climber at the primary school, everytime we played soccer and the ball was in the tree i was the one whom was always send to get it. Well, till i fell on my arm -lucky it wasn't broken but the PAIN :o hihihi) and after that accident it was forbidden to climb trees! but *sigh* what a great memories i have
i had climbed many trees too when i was a child... oh, sweet memories :-)
sometimes i wish i could go play like years ago... but the trees aren't getting more durable, and i'm a bit heavier than then ;-)

Is it me, or does aging make us a little less graceful? I fell going UP the stairs the other day. Granted, I was talking on the phone so I wan't paying a lot of attention but come on...UP the stairs?
   UP the stairs?!! Thats OUCH too!!!
hmm just blame it all on the aging!
