Hi again Mandy! Nice to meet you! :D I hope that Nek comes to Spain soon! But when he comes to Spain, he always go to Barcelona and Madrid, and both cities are so far of Vigo, mi city :( So it's difficult that I can go to one of his concerts. But this year I'll try to go to Madrid to see him!!!!

I have never been in one of his concerts :( But one time I met him in a performance, they were only two songs in playback but it didn't matter! :P I could meet him in the airport and in the backstage. I can't believe it yet!

My name is Annelise, and I can't choose just one song on the cd. They are all amazing. I don't have the cd yet, and it's just killing me :x ! I cannnnnnoooottttt wait!!!!!!! I live in America, so just getting Nek is pretty hard, because he's not so well known here. It's terribly unfair that some people already have the cd and I can't get it yet. :cry: I'm new here, so I hope to make many friends, who love Nek's music as much as I do. BTW the new album is FANTASTIC! I'm sure in all musician's life there is an album what couldn't repeat. I believe THIS IS THE ONLY ONE in Fili's life. His all album are very good, but this is the best! :)

Hi, I'm Judy from Vienna, I am 28 ( :cry: ) and I have a son of 6 years.... I haven't got the CD either...ya know, also Austria doesn't belong to Europe..... well, a friend of mine went to Italy today, and she'll be back on Sunday, she'll bring the cd for me!!!!!! I just can't wait...I've already read through the lyrics here...and it is strange...this is the first cd I know the lyrics of, but haven't heard the songs yet.....
I've been to a Nek concert last summer in Italy.... well, don't have to mention it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY UNBELIEVABLE UNFORRGETTABLY FANTASTICALLY MAGNIFICENT, or do I??? :lol: I hope you too will have the chance to see him, and I hope that I will also be able to see him again.....

Well, a lto of time has passed....but well, I think I remember..... :lol:
It was on 9th of July when I went to the concert in Este. I was on holidays in Italy at that time... Ele2002 from the italian forum bought the ticket for me, and we met there, I also met Ginger there, and Vale and some other girls from the forum... that was great! We were waiting in the heat for quite a while, then fili came in a Jaguar.... At about 7 p.m. we were able to enter ( only the ppl from the fanclub). The concert was in the ruins of an old castle, a beautiful site for a concert!!! We could assist the soundcheck, that was very interesting! then we were able to meet nek... I was a bit nervous, as you can guess! Wehn it was my turn, I gave my camera to this guy who took the fotos and went to nek. We greeted each other with two kisses (onto the cheeks...) and then i told him that I was Judy from Vienna. he was very surprised that I was there, because Vienna is far away, and he said "Iam glad that you have come!" Then the foto was taken. I asked him if he would come to Vienna for a concert, and he said that he hoped so. i told him that he HAD to come, cause it has been so long a time since he last was in Vienna... he said, he would try. (Extra info: he didn't come!!)
The concert was great, I was standing in the first row, in the middle... the sound was great, fili was great, it was an absolutely great evening! He did a perfect performance! .... well, that's it....... :wink:

As to the new album, I have no pale idea when it will possibly be released in Poland (Du say sth, if ya know) but I'm afraid we'll have to wait a couple of... ages :roll: So I guess I'll get it in summer when I go to Germany (hopefully it IS available there...). :)

Now he seems to concenrtate more on italy, spain and latin america..... :cry:

Sounds cruel, but those are the countries where he sells highest number of albums... And that means: more fans & more money... :roll: Austria or Hungary can't even measure with that... :(
Besides, I guess the reason why Nek is much more popular in Spain&Latin America is that he actually sings in SPANISH; most people buy the music, when they understand the lyrics; that's the way it is... And look at Poland for example: Italian speaking people are few (e.g.: me), the rest are crazy fans (e.g.: Du ;) ) - that doesn't make a huge number of potential Nek fans, cd-buyers and concert-visitors... :( Looks like it's just not a good business to invest in other countries for Nek. A pity for us :cry:

but to add something to your post: maybe even there is some number of his fans in poland (i know about 20 i think, but i didn't count :P ), most of them doesn't buy his CDs, but take music from internet. And becouse of it, his menagers think that we don't ascolta him.

I have no idea when will be the album in Poland, i just remmber that for L'anno Zero i had to wait about 2-3 months :roll: :evil: :(

Maybe you're right Pau, but don't forget the Hungarian people can't speak any foreign languages too well, and we like Eros Ramazzotti, TZN, Laura Pausini so much. And I spoke just Italian musicians now. Eros was here twice and gave full-house concert, and his Hungarian fans sang his songs with him. :roll: You're right when you say about money. I know approx. 50 Nek's fans in personally, but they have to buy his cds from abroad. I'm afraid I must to tell, that Nek's promotion in Hungary is a big ZERO (and not L'anno zero :lol: )! :( Eros usually comes into my country in 3-4 occasion a year. :roll: :?

Du, L'anno Zero appeared in Italy in October I guess, and I got the cd just for Christmas, so I guess u'r right with waitin' 2-3 months.... But in 2-3 months I'll already have the album - bought in Germany (and again nobody would know that people in Poland buy his cds :P)
Dee, also in Poland Eros is much more popular, there are no problems with bying his albums and the concerts of him are quite often. Besides, people love him, coz on concerts he's so open and natural - and he even tries to speak Polish and that's really not that easy, so we all like it very much :lol:
I don't know, maybe it's a question of pubblicity, coz I can't find a rational reason why Eros can be popular here and Nek - not. All I can think of is that people just have no idea that a guy called Nek exists and makes good music; the lack of promotion makes him completely (or: almost completely - see: me&Du&Kuba :lol: ) unknown here.

Nek had a concert once in vienna...in 1997 for the tour of lei, gli amici... and he really was famous here at that time, but I think his management didn't push him enough afterwards (at least in countries of europe...) If I tell s.o. that I like nek, they all go: who? and I say: Laura non c'è and they all go: ah, yeah, right, I remember that song.... ALL remember that song, but afterwards: no promotion- no notion.... sad, but that is the way it is...
